Community Housing Industry Association (CHIA)
CHIA is the national peak body for community housing providers in Australia.
Shelter WA is the peak body for community housing in Western Australia.
Federation of Housing Collectives (FOHCOL)
FOHCOL is the peak body for housing co-operatives in Western Australia.
Common Equity Housing Limited (CEHL)
CEHL is a registered housing provider in Victoria that promotes co-operative housing. It currently owns more than 2000 properties across Victoria, with a combined value of more than $450 million. CEHL is the model on which Co-operation Housing is loosely based.
Common Equity New South Wales (CENSW)
CENSW is based on a similar model to CEHL and Co-operation Housing. It arose from the Association to Resource Cooperative Housing, a New South Wales body similar to FOHCOL in Western Australia.
Common Equity Housing South Australia (CEHSA)
CEHSA is a member-focused, not-for-profit organisation providing administrative and regulatory support to community housing co-operatives and associations and their members. CEHSA advocates for the protection and growth of the co-operative and community housing sector.
Jacaranda Housing, Queensland
Jacaranda Housing holds title to a portfolio of 75 dwellings in Brisbane with an estimated value in excess of $35 million, and also carries out fee-for-service housing management for another South-East Queensland housing cooperative.
Business Council of Co-operatives and Mutuals (BCCM)
BCCM is the national peak body representing the co-operative and mutual models of enterprise. It is the only organisation uniting the entire and diverse range of member-owned businesses.
